Performer Visa

PERFORMER (Temporary Three) visas are meant for non-Brazilian professionals in sports and performing arts who have been hired to perform in Brazil and hold appropriate Brazilian work permits procured by their Brazilian contracting parties.

The issuance of PERFORMER visas requires notification from the Ministry of External Relations, plus the following supporting documents:

  • a valid (not expiring within 6 months) passport or permit to reenter the US;

·         Visa application. Please fill out electronically in the following website (https://scedv.serpro.gov.br ). Once you have done it, print out the receipt page, with the bar code, affix a photo and sign it;

  • one recent passport-type photograph.

     * Non-US citizens are additionally requested to present one of the following:

- a US resident alien card or,
- a valid entry visa authorizing employment in the US.

A PERFORMER visa covers a maximum duration of stay of 90 days and is renewable in Brazil.

COSTS:

For American citizens applying by mail or through a third party: US$ 210.00 (US$ 40.00 consular fee + US$ 150.00 processing fee + US$ 20.00 handling fee)

For American citizens applying in person: US$190.00 (US$ 40.00 consular fee + US$ 150.00 processing fee)

For non-American citizens applying by mail or through a third party: US$ 60.00 (US$ 40.00 consular fee + US$ 20.00 handling fee)

For non-American citizens applying in person: US$ 40.00 consular fee
